Our Spanish Committee is responsible for working with the administration to operate the PS 9 Spanish Program, finding funding for the program, and translating PA documents. Parent volunteers, the Spanish Cluster teacher and Rita Yoskowitz (PS 9 Parent Coordinator) run our unique Spanish program, which was brought to PS 9 by parent initiative, and is funded in large part by the PA. The Spanish program provides an introduction to Spanish for all children at PS 9, and is still a pilot program in need of financial support. Please help us solidify Spanish language instruction at PS 9 by volunteering.
