Class parents play an important role as a liaison between the teacher and the parents. They also fulfill the function of organizing parent/teacher conferences, volunteers for class trips, organizing class functions, and oh so much more. It’s recommended that the class parent role be shared by up to four people. This is a wonderful way to be more involved in your child’s education, have contact with your teacher, and create relationship with other parents. Class parents are supported by the 3rd VPs of Parent Involvement.
